Cocktails made in the room
Not another events venue
Most private hires give you a room and a bar. This one gives you a room, a bar, and a working distillery under the same roof — cocktails built on rum that was made a few steps away, in one of the most culturally dense quarters in London.
The spaces
Two rooms, one distillery.
Each holds up to 60. Take one — or take the whole venue for up to 120, closed-door.

01 — The Distillery
The Distillery
The room built around the working copper still — warm lighting, timber bar, banquettes and stools. Everything you drink is made a few feet from where you're standing. Best for launches, listening sessions, close-quarter dinners, and evenings where the room is the point.

Questions
Before you ask.
What's the minimum spend?
+
£2,000 for either space, drinks and food inclusive. It sets a floor for the night — most bookings run above it once the room fills.
How many guests can I have?
+
Up to 60 in each room, whether that's standing drinks or a mixed seated/standing layout. Combined hire (both rooms) takes up to 120. Smaller groups are welcome — the minimum spend still applies.
When can we hire?
+
Sunday to Thursday, daytime and evening. Friday nights are held for members' Golden Hour; Saturdays we usually keep open for the bar. Say what you're aiming for — we'll be honest about what's possible.
What's included in the minimum spend?
+
Drinks, food and staffing across the hire. There's no separate room-hire fee on top — the minimum spend is the floor, and everything you eat and drink counts toward it.
Can I hire the whole venue?
+
Yes — combined hire runs across both rooms for up to 120 guests. Ask when you enquire; we'll price and shape the whole night as one event.
Do you do food?
+
Snacks, canapés and small plates, put together with a Brixton kitchen we've worked with for years. Full menus shared during planning; we sort dietary needs then.
Can we bring a DJ or live act?
+
Yes. The room has a hi-fi system and a corner that turns into a booth. Tell us the artist and their tech rider when we plan — we'll flag anything we need to sort in advance.
Come and stand at the bar the drinks are made on. Bring the people you'd most like to introduce to it.
