The Brixton Editions

One still, many hands.

Our favourite spirit is rum, but we also love making rare, premium gin and vodka. Most of the cocktails at the bar are made with spirits we distilled right in this room. The editions are what happens when we hand that still to someone else from Brixton: an artist, an archive, a kitchen. Their recipe, their label, our distillery.

Tasting Notes

Spice-led. Warm. Balanced.

Warm ginger, toasted oak

Palate

Cocoa, gentle spice, cinnamon

Finish

Clean, rounded, lingering warmth

“Opens with warm ginger on the nose, moves through cocoa and gentle spice on the palate, and finishes clean and rounded.”

Made With Brixton

Numbered. Brixton-Distilled.

Every batch starts as a conversation — with the people who make Brixton what it is. This one was shaped with the teams from 384 Cocktail Bar, Shrub & Shutter, Impact Brixton and Brixton Brewery. The bottle leaves the room; the conversation stays on the shelf.

Flavour

Spice-led with ginger, cocoa, cinnamon, and cassia. Smooth enough to sip neat, bright enough to carry a mixer.

Community

Developed with the teams from 384 Cocktail Bar, Shrub & Shutter, Impact Brixton, and Brixton Brewery. Stocked at venues across the neighbourhood.

Culture

The label art celebrates Brixton's Caribbean heritage and creative spirit. Each bottle is individually numbered.

Two ways to spend an afternoon at the BCC Distillery. Both end with rum in your hand.

Rum tasting at the BCC Bar — two hosts behind the bar, one pouring, the house bottles lined along the shelf above

Rum Tasting

Fridays · 7pm – 8.30pm · Seven rums

A sofa in the corner of the bar, Caribbean snacks on the table, and seven rums poured one at a time: Barbados, Martinique, Jamaica, Guyana, then ours, off the still behind the counter. Each one explained, where it's from, how it's made, what to look for.

Hosted by a Brixton local. You don't need to know rum. When the last glass is done the bar is right there, and most people stay.

Hosted by Brixton locals. Feast, flight, and your take-home bottle all included.
