A team settling in around the distillery tables in Brixton Village

This is not a hotel away-day

Most offsites move your team to a beige room and hand them a deck. This doesn't. You spend the day inside a working distillery in one of the most culturally dense quarters in London — and you leave with something you made together, not a folder you'll never open.

The day

A day your team makes together.

The BCC Distillery daybar — green sofa, tan banquettes, sunlit

01The room

The distillery is yours

For the day, the working distillery in the heart of Brixton Village is yours — your team, the room, the copper stills. A real working space with a story, not a hotel meeting room with a flip-chart.

02The session

Shaped around your question

We plan with you beforehand and build the day around the question your team is carrying — strategy, culture, innovation, or simply the room to think differently. It's hosted alongside the Brixton founders and operators who've built things here, so there are people in the conversation who've actually done the work.

03The blend

On the still, together

Then it gets hands-on. In small teams you settle a recipe and our distillers charge the stills — by law the distilling is ours, but the choices are yours. It's the thread that runs through the day: one thing made together, not a presentation watched apart.

04 — Lunch

A proper working lunch and drinks from the bar — built on the house rum — not sandwiches pushed across a boardroom table. Time for the team to actually talk.

Included. Dietary needs sorted in the planning.

Finishing a bottle of rum — the last touches that make it yours

05 — The bottle

Finish it. Name it. Take it home.

By the end of the day each guest finishes their blend to taste, names it and labels it, and leaves with a bottle they made — a reminder of the day that doesn't end up in recycling on the train home.

Questions

Before you ask.

How many people can come?

+

Fifteen to forty. Below fifteen it's not really a private day; above forty the room gets tight. If your team is larger, talk to us — we can sometimes run two sittings.

What does it cost, and what's included?

+

£300 per person, covering private use of the distillery, the innovation session, the rum-blending, a working lunch and drinks, and a bottle for every guest. There's a 15-person minimum; we'll send an exact quote once we know your numbers and the shape of your day.

Can you tailor it to what our team is working on?

+

Yes — that's the point. We plan with you beforehand and build the session around the question your team is carrying, whether that's strategy, culture, innovation, or simply time to think differently. The rum-blending is the thread that ties the day together.

What about non-drinkers and dietary needs?

+

Nobody sits out. Non-drinkers blend a Caribbean botanical syrup instead of rum — same ritual, same bottle to take home. Tell us about dietary needs and how many aren't drinking when we plan, and we'll sort it.

How far ahead should we book?

+

A couple of weeks is ideal, so we can tailor the day and brief our hosts. If you need something sooner, ask — we'll tell you honestly what's possible.

Where is it, and is it accessible?

+

Inside Brixton Village, in the heart of the market. It's a working distillery, so if anyone in your group has access needs, tell us before you book and we'll talk through what's possible.

Brixton has been making things worth keeping for decades. Bring your team in for a day of it.
